Morphology
On PDA colonies grow rapidly. After 2 weeks at 25°C white aerial mycelium becoming purple, reverse dark purple. Macroconidia fusiform, slightly curved, pointed at the tip usually 3- or 5-septate. Microconidia abundant, mostly non-septate ellipsoidal to cylindrical, straight or often curved.
